Financial Assistance

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

There are several financial assistance opportunities available for families who need assistance paying for registration fees: KidSport, Jumpstart and Aurora Ways and Means.

Applications for financial assistance should be submitted at the time of registration.

You will be required to pay your registration fees upfront and if approved for funding you will be reimbursed the amount you were approved for. The quicker you apply for funding the quicker you will be reimbursed.

It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are made from any external organizations to the Aurora Soccer Club, and to cover any fees not covered by a financial assistance.

KIDSPORT

KidSport is a children's charity, which assists children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sport programs so that all kids can play.

Players are eligible for up to $500 of funding every calendar year (January - December) in Saskatoon.

Aurora Soccer Club Ways & Means Policy

Aurora Soccer Club Ways & Means Policy

Aurora recognizes the importance of all players having an equal opportunity to access soccer programs.

To help make this possible, Aurora has created a Ways & Means Fund that will assist with registration costs not covered by 3rd party funding (ie: Kidsport, Jumpstart, SYSI Athlete Assistance Fund, etc). Any funds distributed will be done in confidence.

The Ways & Means Committee is responsible to review situations that arise with regards to financial barriers of players and/or families. The Committee members will review each application individually and has the authority to waive full or partial registration.

**Individual team fees, including tournament costs, are the responsibility of the player and are not covered by the Ways and Means Fund**

Information forwarded to the Board will include the number of situations reviewed and the outcome; no personal information will be released outside the committee.
