What's New for the 2026-27 Season

  • New Adidas Entrada 26 Club Uniform - Aurora Soccer Club is introducing a brand-new official club uniform beginning this season. All players, including returning players, are required to purchase the new official uniform package.
  • Single-Year Age Groups - U9 has been divided into U8 and U9 divisions, while U11 has been divided into U10 and U11 divisions to better align players within their age group and support player development.
  • U11 City League Only - Beginning this season, City League will only be offered at the U11 age group. U13-U17 City League has been discontinued by SYSI.
  • More League Games - Most divisions will enjoy an extended season with additional league games.
  • Updated Season Schedule - The post-New Year's break has been shortened, allowing for additional league games before the Indoor League Finals.

League Structure

Aurora Soccer Club offers three different indoor pathways, allowing families to choose the program that best suits their child's age, experience, and desired level of commitment.

SYSI Indoor 2026-27 Season Information

Development League (U7-U9)

The Development League is Aurora Soccer Club's introductory pathway for young players beginning their soccer journey. It is offered as an alternative to Community Soccer, providing additional training opportunities in a fun, positive, and player-centred environment.

Teams are created by Aurora Soccer Club's Technical Staff with the goal of promoting balanced competition and supporting every player's development.

Players participate in two weekly club-led training sessions, both delivered by Aurora Technical Staff Coaches, while also receiving support from their assigned team staff throughout the season.

City Recreational League (U11)

Beginning with the 2026-27 Indoor Season, the City Recreational League is offered exclusively for players born in 2016 and 2017 (U11).

The City Recreational League is designed for players looking for a fun, recreational soccer experience with a lower weekly commitment. It is an excellent option for players who enjoy soccer while balancing other sports and activities.

Games are played on hardcourt with live boards in a 7v7 format, creating a fast-paced environment with continuous play and fewer stoppages. Unlike the Development League, players train once per week with their assigned team and coaching staff, helping build team chemistry and prepare for weekly league games.

There are no league standings or playoffs, allowing the focus to remain on player development, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game.
